From the snowy peaks of Aspen, we produced the first ever digital-exclusive broadcast of X Games. The livestream combined X Games’ world-renown sports broadcast with exclusive music performances, pro-gaming, interviews and entertainment. 

Spread across 30 hours+ of livestream to both Twitch and YouTube, the show was hosted by X Games personality and pro-snowboarder Jack Mitrani and host-extraordinaire Hannah Rad. The duo manned the couch at our bespoke on-site set, and allowed fans to hang out and interact with celebrities and influencers, including Javonte Williams and Jonas Griffith of the Denver Broncos, Meghan Oldham, NGHTMRE, and multiple appearances from the hilarious Stoney McBlaze.

Professional gaming was a big part of the broadcast, including an amazing series of “X Craft” events held in Minecraft. Working with the team at EVNT Games, pro gamers competed in a series of X Games theme events, including Capture The Flag, Spleef and Build Battles, which lead to all kinds of block-based mayhem.

Ubisoft’s Riders Republic was also heavily featured in the broadcast, including gameplay appearances from SteepSteep, who showed fans how to attack the virtual hills in the RR’s X Games themed expansion.

This live broadcast also allowed us to highlight the exclusive music performances that happen at X Games. Performances from Yung Gravy, girlfriends, Modsun, and Madds amped up the hype and showcased the FOMO moments fans previously only got on site. 

This was a unique, amazing, and freezing experience that we were proud to bring to life.
